Sad News

I just found out that Ivan Sag has died of cancer at 63 (here).  Ivan did very important work in syntax and syntax-semantics interface issues. He was very prolific and a gifted linguist. Though my own views often failed to coincide with his, there is no doubt his work was of the highest quality. Sad news.
